Privacy
What we store, how it’s used, and your choices.
What we store
- Your account: email address and display name.
- Passages you save, the lists you make, and any notes you add to them.
- Verses you highlight while reading.
- Photos you upload, and the shareable images (“creations”) you generate from them.
How your photos are processed
When you create a shareable image, the photo you choose and the verse you picked are sent to our image-generation provider (Google’s Gemini image API) solely to compose the image you requested. We don’t use your photos to train models, and we don’t sell or share them for advertising. Your photos and creations are private to your account.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting product analytics (PostHog) to understand which features are used — for example, that a search or a save happened. We never send the content of your searches, notes, scripture, or photos to analytics; events are tied only to your account id.
Retention & your rights
You can delete any photo, any creation, or any saved passage at any time, and you can delete your account to remove your data. We don’t sell your data to anyone.
